Kerala has such delights that you would never want to leave the place. It is generally the backwaters of Kerala that attract the tourists. Apparently, a tribal who helped a British engineer was killed and buried under a tree, so that the engineer could reap the rewards of finding the route to Mysore. The tree which has chained wrapped around its trunk is said to chain the tribal man’s soul from causing mischief along the route. This is an example of the charming mythological beliefs of the local people.
